This game is an absolute gem! From the moment I started playing, I was hooked by its charming pixel-art style and soothing gameplay. The combination of fishing 🎣 , grilling 🍖, and serving adorable cats 🐈 is both fun and relaxing, striking the perfect balance between simplicity and engagement. The fishing mechanic is intuitive and satisfying, while the grilling adds a bit of strategy to keep things interesting.
What really makes this game special is the cats—each one has a unique personality, different tastes, and adorable animations that make serving them a joy. Watching their little reactions after being fed is simply heartwarming! The cozy atmosphere, relaxing music, and smooth gameplay make it the perfect game to unwind with after a long day.

I just played Pawfish Bay, and I’m absolutely in love with it! The mix of fishing, grilling, and serving cats is such a simple yet satisfying gameplay loop. The Gold Miner-style fishing mechanic is fun and easy to pick up, but there’s just enough challenge to keep things interesting—especially when you have to manage cooking times and keep the picky cats happy.
The pixel art is super charming, and the little cat animations made me smile every time. It’s clear a lot of love went into this game, from the cozy vibes to the relaxing music. Honestly, I downloaded it thinking I’d just try it for a few minutes, and then suddenly, I was totally hooked (pun intended).
If you’re looking for something chill, cute, and enjoyable, I highly recommend giving this a shot. It’s free, but I’d say it’s definitely worth tossing a few bucks to the dev—it’s amazing this was a first-time project! Looking forward to more from HopterFish in the future. 🐾🎣😻

Even though it’s a small game, this is my first time making a complete game from start to finish —— also my first time doing pixel art and composing background music.
This past month has been a journey of learning from scratch, and every day has been filled with excitement. I hope this little game brings you some joy too!
